HaPPE sacks are certified for both home and industrial composting and are compatible with the HaPPE bio-digester process. But compostable bags shouldn't be limited to food waste. Unlike a conventional plastic sack that can remain intact long after its contents could otherwise break down, a compostable sack is designed to break down under appropriate biological conditions, allowing contents to be released and processed too.
